He is the Potter, I am the Clay

M and I have been doing a lot of pottery together the past 3 days. It has been so fun. Last night we left pottery and wet to Sonic for a slushy and somewhere between there ond home I lost my glasses. We think we may have thrown them in the trash! UGH. So today I have tried doing things with out them. Boy how much harder everything seemed. Yesterdeay J's dog ate her camera and wo M wrote her so see if he had anything to do with the missing glasses. J said no but next time instead fo throwing them away let her dog have them for a chew toy....I appericate the humor so not to get too upset about not being able to see well. I will also appericate when I get new ones and with correction be able to see clearly again. That is my Monday. Tomorrow I go to the dentist to see if I need a crown..I really am afraid of the dentist....

Today is Mikes birthday and we went on a 4&1/2 hour , 10 mile canoe trip. I spent my paddle time going from one side of the river to the other. Mike was trying to teach me the J-stroke but I didn't quite get the hang of it. It did provide some good for your heart laughter. When we got home mother and daddy suggested we go out to dinner so off we go. I am so thakful to have Mike in my life, he is so much fun and laughs with me not at me. He has a kind and gentle spirt. One of Gods many blessings to me. May you have some good laughter today. The kind that makes you cry tears of joy.

Today at the farm I was listening to Instie for living John Poper had a book A passion for the Gospel and brought up some intreresting ideas. Do you have a R and R life style or a war time lifestyle. He asked what do we complain about is it about our bed, is it too hot or do we say we don't have to tools we need to further the kingdom of God? Are we on the front line changing peoples lives with the Gospel?What is my fruit? Will I pursue Gods agenda or mine? Is Christ the center of my life?
Lord please forgive me for not seeing your hand in my life. For my discontenment at times with my situatuion. My personl blessings are the relationships with God, J and M. A bed to sleep in and a roof over my head. A job where God can make a difference in the lives of many children through me. Friends like C who like to blog and share little bits of her life with me.

The day started off well. I went to visit a charter school to see what it was all about. Sounds interesting. Then I went online to check out teacher_teacher.com. seems that is how one finds out about jobs in a charter school...The thing that I liked wat that they don't teach the test they teach the kids. Pottery went well I loaded a glaze kiln and a bisc kiln with all the day camp stuff. We had to move the kids stuff on to a kiln to dry it out enough to load it at 8PM. Last night Mike and I helped load the gas likn until 10:30. Today Charlie showed me how to tell when to do reduction (turn the air flow wide open) and when to soak it (turn the airflow way low) . I enjjoy learning new things. We will be going to the farm tomorrow and wash and mow again. I hope to get to the river some time this week.....I think I am rambling so I better stop. Ashley helped me....load the kiln but the cool thing was I have several plaques with bible verses on them and she read them and thought they were cool. It was the first toe in the door for me. I hope to share more as time goes on. Please continue to pray for wisdom for me to share.
