I will try this one last time for 2006. The sermon from Dr. Miller was great today. Really gave me some things to set as goals. One is to read and memorise more of the word. Many changes this past year and I am sure many more to come in the new year. God is an awsome God and it has been exciting to see his hand in all that has happened this year. I am really enjoying being a potter and the time making things in the clay. My prayer is that the Lord will present times to share his love and what he has done for me to people who come by the store. I am thankful for many things. Family, to be married to the love of my life, special freinds like C and D. You know who you are. My health and the change of heart in my mom. While baby steps they are still steps in the right direction. Only God knows for sure her heart. The healing of Mike's dad's hip and his continued recovery and good health at 90. That his mom is mobile and happy most of the time. My wish list for 2007 is a local church family, more time with J and D and C. Continued good health and to have a servants heart. To share the Lord daily. May the word see the Lord in my life everyday.

December 25,2006....Time spend with J and Mike's parents, and Walter. It was so wonderful to be with J. When I think of the Best Christmas Ever I think of J. She was born on the 16th and we got home from the hospital just a few days before Christmas. I remember putting her under our tree and thinking what a special Christmas blessing she was to our family. The Lord has had his hand on her in a very special way from the beginning. It is such a treasured memory to remember every Christmas since with her. A little baby, young child, young lady, teen and now a beautiful woman of God. I am honored to be called J's mom. I am thankful that she found the Lord at a young age and has never left him. That Is what Christmas Is all about. The Lord Jesus and his life freely given for me and you. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. How exciting to see what the Lord has for us in 2007.
My "New Job" as a potter is so much fun. I love working in such a happy place. Just one of the many blessings of 2006.

I made it! December 8th 2006. Altho my last day was anything but "normal" I went to work today at 7:30 instead of my usual 6:30. However it is the regular time for all teachers to report to work. Things were quite. I went to the office to turn in my key and the assistant principal said he would not take my key and I couldn't leave if I didn't turn in my key. Really he was very kind in his words to me. Then I headed back to my room and at 8:20 the power went out in the school. It was 16degrees outside and the building was not really warm to begin with. The day just got wilder as it went on. At 10:30 the students were released to go home and we left around 12! Talk about a great way to leave. The Lord took care of that day and it could not have been better planned. Praise the Lord. I went to Muddabbers (after a short nap) and the day there was great. I am looking forward to the first day of my new life (ie: not a teacher) I feel so relaxed and know it was the right decision. Mom has her surgery on Monday and we will leave early Sunday to be with her. I am so thankful to the Lord for how he always works things out so much better than I could have even dreamed. So that is how my Friday went how about yours??
